CALGARY, Alberta – August 3, 2011 – Acceleware® Ltd. (TSX-V: AXE) (the “Company”) a leading developer of high performance computing applications, today announced that it has appointed Dan Cyca as Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Cyca was previously the Company’s Director of Engineering, and has been with Acceleware since 2005. Mr. Cyca holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Calgary. “Dan is the chief software architect of our products, and he is globally recognised as one of the foremost minds in the fields of GPU computing and parallel programming,” said Geoff Clark, President and CEO of Acceleware. “The Company is excited to have Dan take on this expanded role. His expertise will be invaluable to Acceleware in achieving our long term goals.”

Mr. Cyca replaces Ryan Schneider as Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Schneider is leaving the Company to pursue other interests. Ryan was a co-founder of Acceleware and has always been an important asset to the Company and the management team. “Acceleware is grateful for the contributions Mr. Schneider has made to the Company including, but not limited to, building a solid technical team that is more than capable of executing our product and services business plans. On behalf of the board of directors and management, I would like to personally thank him for his service,” said Mr. Clark. “Ryan was instrumental in creating Acceleware, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours,” said Dr. Michal Okoniewski, Chief Scientist and co-founder of Acceleware.
