Science Summit at the United Nations General Assembly 78
The Future of Cleantech
IAC is hosting a Canadian clean tech panel on the first day of the Science Summit at the UN general Assembly, immediately following the opening session.
This Summit's objective is to develop and launch science collaborations to demonstrate global science mechanisms and activities to support the attainment of the UN SDGs, Agenda 2030 and Local2030.
The moderated panel discussion should be about 40 – 45 minutes, followed by a Q and A, for a total of 1.5 hours.

Abstract
In this session, CEOs of cutting-edge clean tech companies will share their vision of what industry, government and civil society need to do to accelerate the energy transition and how their technologies can transform the way we live, work and sustain our planet. We will hear their thoughts on the challenges and opportunities we face in the coming years and how important a global approach will be in mitigating climate change. This will be an interactive session where we hope to provoke new approaches and ways of think about the energy transition and how global partnerships can be formed to accelerate these efforts.
