Kelman Increases Resolution and Drives Computational Efficiency with Acceleware

By targeting their compute intensive code for GPUs, seismic processing at Kelman is now completed up to 5X faster on a single GPU compared to an 8-core (16 threads) state-of-the-art server. This speed-up allows Kelman to deliver faster turnaround cycles, reduce their processing costs and greatly increase their capacity all within the existing power, cooling and footprint constraints of their current datacenter.
