Ni hao! (Mandarin Chinese)

January 31: So I ended up in Zhuozhou City about 120km from Beijing this week as a guest of the Geophysical Research Institute (GRI). I have trouble following the connection chart, and it changes, but to make a long, convoluted story seem short: it seems like the path is China National Petroleum Company (CNPC), which is then connected to PetroChina, which is then or also connected to the Bureau of Geophysical Processing (BGP), which is then the parent of GRI. Greetings and welcome to the Acceleware blog page

We decided to launch this blog for several reasons. Foremost was to capture the information and the energy that is so often created in lively internal Acceleware discussions, and present it to greater audience in the HPC community to see what that stirs up! We also intend to use the blog as a more informal way of sharing what type of work we are doing at Acceleware in our research and product development. Finally we have some great employees here that with an interesting diversity of education and experience that is bound to bring forth a host of different ideas.
