Position: Sales - Account Manager (AXAM0111)

Acceleware is looking for an experienced high-tech Account Manager to drive new business relationships plus harvest and strengthen existing partner and customer accounts. An Acceleware account manager position is for the self-starting person who can manage their own book of accounts and is interested in growing the revenue base and their own compensation. This position reports to the VP of Sales at Acceleware.

The successful candidate will

  • Have a proven track record of building and managing a channel sales and a direct sales model to expand existing relationships and drive incremental revenues
  • Be experienced in business development activities to forge new customer and partner relationships
  • Maintain important communications with executives, product managers and marketing to effectively stream all of the resources to insure profitable outcomes

Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years of proven sales experience with relevant experience in high-tech, enterprise or technical computing software sales and channel management
  • Good technical background and demonstrated ability to understand technical issues
  • Excellent communication skills, presentation abilities, time management and decision making skills
  • Business planning skills with demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management and Marketing
  • Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Experience in international sales
  • Education level: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Additional Requirements

  • Experience with Salesforce.com or equivalent CRM required
  • Expertise in creating revenue forecasting plans
  • Understanding of computer architectures and high performance computing
  • Some international travel required
